Treatment & Conditions

Can chiropractic care treat migraines or tension headaches?

Yes, absolutely. Chiropractic adjustments are highly effective at reducing nerve irritation and relaxing the tight muscles in the neck and shoulders that often contribute to headaches. Many patients at Elevate Wellness report fewer and less intense headaches once we start consistent care.

Will adjustments help with poor posture or desk-related back and neck pain?

Definitely. The prolonged sitting hours and poor work posture common in modern life can cause spinal misalignments. I work to correct these through chiropractic care, which not only relieves immediate pain but also helps retrain your body for healthier, more sustainable alignment and posture.

Is chiropractic safe during pregnancy?

Yes, it is very safe. I use gentle, pregnancy-safe techniques that are customized for each stage. This care helps ease lower back pain, reduce pelvic discomfort, and improve mobility, all while ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and baby.

Can chiropractic care support recovery post-surgery or during rehabilitation?

Definitely. Misalignments caused by long sitting hours or poor posture can be corrected with chiropractic care. This not only relieves pain but also helps retrain your body for healthier alignment.

Can chiropractors help with sciatica or nerve pain?

Yes. Sciatica is often caused by pressure on the sciatic nerve. By using targeted adjustments and soft tissue techniques, I can relieve this pressure, which helps to reduce sharp pain, numbness, or tingling in the legs. I will also recommend supportive functional exercises to help prevent future flare ups.

Are there chiropractic techniques for sports injuries?

Absolutely. Athletes benefit greatly from the customized adjustments, movement retraining, and functional exercise progressions we use at Elevate Wellness. This approach promotes faster recovery, improves flexibility, and is key to reducing the chance of repeat injuries.

Is chiropractic helpful after auto accidents or whiplash?

Yes. Chiropractic adjustments are very effective at easing stiffness, restoring range of motion, and supporting long term healing after car accidents or whiplash injuries. Most patients notice steady improvement within just a few visits.

Can children receive chiropractic treatment?

Yes. Pediatric chiropractic care uses very gentle, age appropriate techniques to support healthy growth and address common issues. We often work with children on posture concerns, sports injuries, or general wellness.

What to Expect / Safety

Are chiropractic adjustments painful?

No. Most patients find adjustments comfortable and even relieving. You may feel mild soreness after your first session, similar to post exercise muscle fatigue, but it typically fades quickly.

What is a chiropractic adjustment, and what does it involve?

An adjustment is a precise, controlled movement applied to a joint to restore alignment and function. The process is quick, targeted, and always adapted to your comfort level.

Why does my back “pop” or “crack” during adjustment?

That sound is harmless. It’s simply gas releasing from the joint space, similar to opening a can of pop. It is a normal part of the process and definitely does not mean bones are “cracking”.

Is it safe to get chiropractic care if I have conditions like osteoporosis, arthritis, or heart issues?

In most cases, yes. We always review your health history first to ensure a safe and effective treatment plan. At Elevate Wellness, I use modified, gentle techniques to avoid stressing vulnerable areas.

How quickly might I feel relief, and how many sessions are usually needed?

Some patients notice relief right away, while others improve gradually over several visits. The number of sessions required depends entirely on your specific condition, your overall health, and your personal goals. We will discuss a personalized plan during your first appointment.

Appointments / Payments / Insurance

Do you accept insurance and which providers are covered?

Yes, we work with many insurance providers. Our front desk team can quickly check your benefits and explain exactly what is covered before your first visit at Elevate Wellness.

How long are typical chiropractic appointments?

Your first visit usually lasts 45–60 minutes, which includes a full consultation and exam. Follow up visits are shorter, typically 15–30 minutes, depending on the specifics of your personalized care plan.

What are your payment options and do you offer payment plans?

We accept credit cards, debit, and cash. Direct billing to most extended health insurance plans is available. Payment plans are not offered.

Can I walk in or do I need an appointment?

Appointments are strongly recommended so that we can ensure you receive the best availability. However, we do our best to accommodate walk-ins when the schedule allows.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or rescheduling. This policy helps us serve other patients who may be waiting for an appointment time.

Other Common Questions

Do I need a referral from a medical doctor to see a chiropractor?

No, most patients can schedule directly without a referral. If your insurance requires one, however, we will guide you through the simple steps at Elevate Wellness.

Are there any risks or side effects with chiropractic treatment?

Chiropractic is very safe when performed by a licensed professional. Side effects are typically mild and temporary, such as brief soreness or fatigue.

Can I combine chiropractic care with physical therapy or massage?

Yes, in fact, combining these services often produces better results. This is because we address both structural alignment through chiropractic and muscle health through therapies like massage or physical therapy.

What should I do to maintain benefits between visits?

We provide simple exercises, stretching routines, and posture tips to support your recovery. Following these at home helps extend the benefits of your care and builds long term resilience.

What happens if chiropractic care doesn't help my condition?

If your condition does not improve, we will refer you to another trusted healthcare provider. Your health is our top priority at Elevate Wellness, and we will ensure you get the right care.
